Chinese GPUs Continue to Improve
Chinese GPU manufacturer Lisuan recently introduced the LX 7G100, a new graphics card designed for gaming. According to early reviews, the GPU delivers performance similar to Nvidia's RTX 3060 and includes 12GB of VRAM. It is also the first Chinese gaming GPU to receive Microsoft WHQL certification, showing improved compatibility and driver support.
The LX 7G100 supports DirectX 12, Vulkan 1.3, OpenGL 4.6, and OpenCL 3.0. In gaming tests, it was able to run modern titles such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Black Myth: Wukong with playable frame rates. However, the card is expected to cost around $500 in China, making it difficult to compete with Nvidia, AMD, and Intel products that offer better performance at a similar price.
The real significance of the LX 7G100 is not its performance, but the milestone it represents for China's growing GPU industry.
